Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls, and cleaning filters to maintain optimal water quality. Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early. Use hand tools and power tools to perform minor repairs or adjustments on pool equipment as needed. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, repairs, and maintenance activities for each pool. Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance tasks to ensure a secure working environment. Assist with chemical balancing and water testing to ensure compliance with health standards. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding pool conditions or required repairs. Experience Prior experience in pool maintenance or service technician roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners. Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding pool systems and troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment repair techniques is highly desirable. Experience with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance tasks will help you excel in this role. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial for success in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality. Previous work involving outdoor physical tasks or service industry roles can provide a solid foundation for this position.
