Pool Cleaning Technician

Join the team at Paradise Pools of Texas as a Pool Cleaning Technician and play a key role in delivering a true "backyard paradise" experience for our customers. This position allows you the opportunity to earn Hourly Pay + Commissions! In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and properly balanced swimming pools across the Stephenville and Granbury areas. This role goes beyond basic cleaning, you'll ensure each pool is operating at its best, from water chemistry to equipment performance. Duties Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and water balancing to maintain optimal water quality. Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; troubleshoot issues and perform repairs using hand tools and power tools. Conduct regular maintenance on pool systems to ensure all components operate efficiently and safely. Use specialized equipment and cleaning tools to remove debris, algae, and dirt from pools and surrounding areas. Document service activities, maintenance performed, and any repairs needed; communicate findings clearly to supervisors or clients. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment. Assist with inventory management of supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for scheduled services. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair or maintenance. Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and small equipment used in pool cleaning and repair tasks. Strong understanding of pool chemistry, water testing, and chemical balancing techniques. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively.
