STEM Castle is a vibrant enrichment center with locations in Glendale and Encino, CA, where kids ages 4+ explore coding, robotics - and yes, the arts! We offer both general and support-enhanced programs, creating an inclusive space for all learners. Now, we're adding more creativity to the castle with pottery and art classes!

What You'll Do:

We're looking for a passionate Pottery and/or Art Instructor to teach beginner and intermediate classes in a fun, friendly, and organized way. If you love working with kids, clay and art, this is for you.

Responsibilities:

Teach wheel throwing, hand-building, and glazing to students ages 4 plus Keep class energy upbeat and welcoming—every child should feel proud of their creations Prepare tools, clay, and materials before class begins Maintain studio safety and cleanliness during and after class Load and unload kilns, assist with glazing, and help students finish their projects Contribute ideas for new class formats and community art events

Requirements:

Experience teaching pottery/art or working in a ceramics/art studio Skilled in clay techniques and/or drawing, painting, mixed media Great with kids: patient, fun, and approachable Reliable and organized; able to manage class flow independently
