Full Time Position Summary:
MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine Falmouth is seeking a Practice Supervisor to support the daily operations of a busy, team-based family medicine practice located within the MaineHealth Falmouth Health Center. This practice provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages and works closely within a collaborative environment that includes residency education, integrated specialty services, and multidisciplinary care teams. The Practice Supervisor oversees administrative staff and coordinates day-to-day office operations to promote efficient workflows, operational excellence, and exceptional patient and provider satisfaction. This role partners closely with clinical and operational leadership to support staff engagement, optimize scheduling and patient flow, and maintain a positive and productive work environment. This is a dynamic opportunity for a leader who enjoys fast-paced ambulatory care operations, process improvement, and supporting a collaborative practice culture focused on high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support administrative staff and daily front-office operations Promote efficient workflows and positive patient experience Assist with staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and employee performance management Collaborate with providers, clinical teams, and leadership to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives Help maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and quality expectations Support a team-oriented environment within a teaching practice that includes family medicine residents and interdisciplinary collaboration Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications:
N/A
Experience:
Two years of experience working in a hospital outpatient clinic setting required. Supervisory experience preferred.
