Responsibilities Design and execute creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support each child's unique needs. Implement early intervention techniques and collaborate with specialists to support children with special education needs or additional learning challenges. Engage children in activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and overall childhood development while maintaining a safe environment aligned with child welfare standards. Conduct ongoing assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior. Manage classroom logistics including lesson planning, activity setup, and maintaining organized learning materials to ensure an enriching educational experience. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings or daycare environments. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques tailored for young learners. Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable. Knowledge of Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches such as toddler care or preschool education is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists while advocating for child welfare. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools. Previous private school or daycare experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for fostering a joyful learning environment is essential.
