Principal/Director of Pre-school

QUALIFICATION

Must hold a valid Kentucky Teaching Certification in the area stated above Have the ability to develop and implement the IEP for individual students Ability to implement

ALLSTARS

Standards for Pre-school Administer required assessments Have knowledge of Kentucky Preschool Standards and Regulations Must have knowledge of curriculum and best teaching strategies for improving student learning as defined by KY Teaching Standards Must be available to participate in PD training sessions to increase Kindergarten Readiness Skills Must have knowledge/implementation of ARC meetings and Transition Process for students exiting First Steps Must have strong classroom management skills and the ability to communicate and establish routines appropriate for preschool students Have the ability to develop a positive, professional relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parents Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities related to RSES Must successfully complete all required employment forms/applications Perform other duties as requested by supervisors and required by regulations Render health services as necessary after appropriate training
