Position Summary:

Responsible for preparing product for the assembly process.

Position Responsibilities:

Assembles by hand, uses hand tools or portable powered tools, and/or operates equipment as necessary in order to produce or process products. Loads and unloads previously setup machines, such as arbor presses, drill presses, taps, spot-welding machines, riveting machines, milling machines, or broaches, to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operation on assembly line. May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor. May be part of a crew and assist skilled operators in performance of skilled function. May work at bench as member of assembly group that processes or assembles one or two specific parts and passes unit to another worker. May repair units that fail to meet specifications.

Education:

HS diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

No experience required, but 1+ years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing Environment Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
