Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook, where your enthusiasm for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this vital role, you will prepare ingredients, assist in meal assembly, and support the kitchen's smooth operation. Your energy and attention to detail will help create delicious dishes that delight our guests and uphold our high standards of food safety and presentation. Duties Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning according to recipes and standards Assist with food preparation for daily service, ensuring all items are ready for cooking or plating Follow food safety protocols diligently to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination Support the kitchen team with basic cooking tasks, including assembling salads, sandwiches, or side dishes Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all tools and ingredients are stored properly and ready for use Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies Assist with catering setups and special event meal preparations as needed Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques in a restaurant or food service setting Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations Hands-on experience with kitchen tools such as knives and other culinary equipment Exposure to meal preparation, food industry standards, and catering operations is a plus Strong understanding of serving protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
