Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items, ensuring all food is ready for service with precision and efficiency Cook dishes according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines, maintaining consistency across all plates Assist in menu planning by suggesting ingredient substitutions or new ideas to enhance offerings Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety at all times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper storage of ingredients and tools Support catering events or special functions by preparing bulk meals or specialty dishes as needed Serve dishes promptly during service hours, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that meets quality standards Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and safety protocols Hands-on kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, showcasing proficiency in food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary tools are essential for efficient food prep and cooking tasks Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment Experience in menu planning or catering services adds value by showcasing versatility in food service operations Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable culinary experiences!
