Prep Cook

We are seeking an experienced prep cook for our country club that has fine and casual dining as well as on premise catering for parties and special member events.

Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of food items for our restaurants
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
• Chop, slice, and dice vegetables and meats
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Assist with plating and presentation of dishes
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed For the right person, this position would be an introduction into a culinary career.
