Prep Cook/Expeditor

Prep Cook/Expeditor The Stakeout is currently seeking a reliable and adaptable prep cook and expeditor to join our team for 3 shifts per week (Thursday, Friday prep - Sunday Expo). Line cooking experience is a plus, as we may need help on the line in the future. Hourly wage starts at $18. Known as a legendary Taos hideaway, The Stakeout has been reborn as New Mexico's premier venue, a reprieve from modern life, and an iconic location for ceremonies and celebrations. The venue currently hosts weddings and private events and will be open to the public for restaurant service on Fridays-Sundays when there are no events. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures Expedite food during restaurant service on sundays (this shift includes a tip out)

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for a number of hours.
