Preschool Childcare Supporting Staff

Job description As a Supporting staff member at Magic Moments Learning Center, you need to maintain a positive mindset toward child learning and social-emotional development. Be open to a flexible role that could include assisting in a classroom setting, kitchen, or office positions.

Schedule Available:

Full-time and Part-time positions available. Our center is open 6:30am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. If you have any special accommodations that will need to be worked around it is required to let us know immediately.

Qualifications:

P ass a Level

II / DCF

background screening. Must work the same hour Mon. thru Fri. Being willing to start the 45 hours of state-mandated training and complete it within 1 year of hire date. Have a completed physical or a negative TB test completed upon starting (every 2 years). CPR and 1st aid certification completed within 90 days of employment and keep up to date. Be able to lift at least 40 pounds. Stay positive. Communicate effectively with staff, management, parents and students.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Work the same schedule hours every day (Monday-Friday) and be reliable. Be able to move around the majority of the day. Perform all activities with children such as jumping, dancing, walking, and running. Respond quickly and appropriately to children's needs. Be able to sit on the floor with the children with the agility to change position quickly. Be flexible and willing to work as a team. Maintain safe, tidy and sanitized classroom environments. Effective communication between fellow staff members and also parents.

Determined by certifications held, degree(s) eared and years of experience.
