Preschool teacher assistant

We are looking for a friendly and dependable Preschool Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in providing a safe, caring, and educational environment for preschool-aged children. The assistant will help with classroom activities, supervision, and daily routines. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with classroom instruction and activities Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Support children with daily routines, meals, and restroom breaks Prepare classroom materials and learning centers Encourage positive behavior and social interaction Help monitor student progress and participation Follow school policies and safety procedures Communicate professionally with staff and families Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children preferred Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff CPR/First Aid certification preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be dependable, patient, and energetic Skills & Attributes Team-oriented mindset Caring and nurturing personality Flexibility and willingness to learn Good organizational skills Ability to engage positively with young children Spanish speaker preferred

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
