We are looking for a joyful, patient, and imaginative Early Childhood Educator to spark a lifelong love of learning in our youngest students. The Role As a teacher in our early childhood program, you will do much more than teach the ABCs. You will facilitate the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children during their most formative years.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Design:

Create and implement engaging, play-based lesson plans that align with Arizona's standards for literacy, numeracy, and inquiry. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Guide children in developing empathy, self-regulation, and conflict-resolution skills through intentional classroom routines using Leader In Me based on Steven Covey's work.

Classroom Environment:

Design a "Third Teacher" environment—a classroom space that is organized, inspiring, and accessible to all learners.

Assessment & Growth:

Use data, observations and portfolios to document student progress, tailoring your instruction to meet the unique needs of every child.

Family Partnership:

Maintain warm, transparent communication with families, recognizing them as the child's first and most important teachers.

Who You Are A Master Storyteller:

You know how to captivate a room of five-year-olds and turn a simple read-aloud into an adventure.

Deeply Patient:

You understand that "misbehavior" is often just a child communicating a need, and you respond with calm and redirection.

A Lifelong Learner:

You stay current on early childhood research and are always looking for new ways to engage curious minds.

A Team Player:

You enjoy collaborating with paraprofessionals, specialists, and fellow teachers to support the "whole child."

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.

Certification:

Valid Arizona Teaching License with an Early Childhood endorsement (or eligibility to obtain one).

Skills:

Experience with Creative Curriculum, Wonders, and Eureka Squared is a plus! Must be trained in the science of reading.

Requirements:

Ability to get down on the floor to play, lift up to 35 lbs, and maintain high energy throughout the school day.

Pay:

$45,900.00 - $52,900.00 per year
