Job Description
•$330K - $375K Total Comp•No weekends. No evening call. No corporate oversight. A physician-owned primary care practice with a PPO-dominant patient panel, full procedural scope, and the autonomy to practice medicine the way you trained to Avita MD is an independent, innovative, multi-location primary care practice in the heart of Silicon Valley. We have three clinic locations in Los Altos, Mountain View, and Los Gatos, with an experienced team of providers and support staff dedicated to delivering the absolute best care to our patients. We use cutting-edge technology for diagnosing and treating conditions, and we have a loyal and engaged patient panel who value the personal touch they are able to get in a smaller clinic. We are looking for an experienced, board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for our Los Altos location. Total compensation is $330,000-$375,000 per year, inclusive of base salary, annual performance bonus, and sign-on bonus. We offer the opportunity to work on a fast-paced team that is revolutionizing primary care with a focus on growth.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY 15-20
patients per day with 30/20-minute appointment slots Outpatient only, with no hospital rounding and no weekend or evening call Full procedural scope: pap smears, joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, abscess drainage Precision medicine programs including advanced diagnostics, metabolic and hormonal panels, and data-driven treatment protocols Collaborative physician-led teamRESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a panel of primary care patients, including comprehensive assessments, ongoing chronic disease management, and acute care Perform in-office procedures such as suturing, pap smears, joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, abscess drainage, and ultrasound-guided injections Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with specialists and our in-house clinical team Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our electronic health record system Educate patients on prevention, health optimization, and treatment options Contribute to clinical protocol development as the practice scales to new locationsWHY AVITA MD
Most primary care jobs in the Bay Area are one of two things: a cog in a corporate health system, or a solo practice with no growth path. Avita MD is neither. Physician-owned and independent. Our clinical decisions are made by physicians, not administrators or corporate boards. No private equity. No health system parent. The physician who founded this practice still sees patients every day. PPO-dominant payer mix. You know what this means for your daily experience: fewer prior authorization battles, fewer claim denials, and patients who can follow through on the care plans you build. A practice that's growing. We're rapidly expanding across the Bay Area. You're not joining a static practice. You're joining early enough to shape clinical culture and grow with us. Patients who value you. Our patient panel is loyal, health-literate, and engaged. These are people who chose a smaller, physician-owned practice specifically because they want a real relationship with their doctor. A smaller clinic, not a smaller commitment to your career. We invest in advanced diagnostics, precision medicine programs, and the infrastructure to support excellent care, all without the bureaucracy that comes with a large system.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
