Job Description

An exciting opportunity to take part in a modern transformation of our Global Operations functions. We are moving to a highly dynamic, agile, and digitalized organization that is well on the way to being world class. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of HR for Global Operations, and you will support functional Vice Presidents for Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering Excellence. The role will also support the Senior Director of SIOP/Logistics and the Senior Director of Facilities, Environmental, Safety, and Health. The HRBP is responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise by providing a wide range of HR support and advice. This includes, but not limited to, guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.
  • Provides expert advice to employees and managers on a range of issues, including but not limited to; benefits, payroll, and general policy and procedures
  • Key contributor in the strategy implementation and operations of a broad range of HR services
  • Manages various departments with respective projects. These could include comp & benefits, talent acquisition, data administration and or running orientation
  • Key contributor in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Manages creation and implementation of updated processes, and make any recommendations to the company based on findings
  • Keeps abreast with employment, state, federal and local regulations and communicates impact to HR leadership and teams Experience / Qualifications
  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers Ability to travel 20% with many international destinations Experience with Workday system preferred #LI-SK1
Base Salary Range:
$112,800.00 - $155,100.00 At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
