This person will work at a ~100-person high-purity batch chemical manufacturing facility located in Central Oregon. This person will wear many hats and will be doing work related to process optimization/improvement, process troubleshooting, quality engineering and root-cause analysis, work related to new product launches and product testing as well as working with teams on capital project efforts. This person will be part of a very collaborative team of engineers and scientists and will have a stake in making decisions within the plant environment and beyond. There is a lot of growth potential for this person as this company continue to expand and growKey Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required 3-5 years of post-college industry experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or a closely related manufacturing environment Experience in an engineering role supporting manufacturing, process improvement, product development, or commercial-scale chemical operations Experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM) regulated environment or direct familiarity with PSM standards and program elements Strong background in process optimization, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis Ability to support quality engineering efforts and help identify and implement process improvements Experience supporting new product launches, production trials, and product testing Ability to work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, EHS, quality, and development teams Familiarity with Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, or other process validation and characterization tools preferred Ability to help define process requirements, support equipment improvements, and contribute to capital project efforts Experience creating or updating SOPs, batch records, BOMs, or related manufacturing documentation preferred Familiarity with PLC and/or DCS control systems is a strong plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in team-based, collaborative environments About theArea:
