is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Analyst to support federal acquisition and contracting operations for a Department of Defense customer at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Michigan. This position provides contracting and procurement support services to the 127th Mission Support Contracting (MSC) office. Promethium Enterprise Inc. is a growing federal contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality acquisition, procurement, and operational support services to government customers nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of federal procurement procedures, acquisition documentation, FAR/DFARS compliance, and contract administration support within a government contracting environment. Position Summary The Procurement Analyst will provide acquisition and contracting support services to assist government contracting personnel with procurement administration, contract documentation, market research, solicitation preparation, tracking, reporting, and compliance activities. This role supports federal acquisition operations in accordance with: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Department of Defense procurement procedures The successful candidate will support mission-critical contracting operations in a fast-paced government environment requiring professionalism, responsiveness, accuracy, and strong organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Support acquisition and procurement activities throughout the contract lifecycle Assist with preparation and review of: Purchase requests Acquisition packages Market research Solicitation documents Contract modifications Procurement documentation Maintain procurement files and contract records in accordance with FAR and agency procedures Track procurement actions, deliverables, and contract milestones Assist with contract closeout activities and documentation management Coordinate with contracting officers, program personnel, and vendors Conduct data analysis and procurement reporting using Microsoft Excel and government systems Support invoice processing and electronic documentation workflows Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations and internal quality standards Participate in process improvement and procurement support initiatives Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive procurement information Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Business Administration Procurement Contract Management Public Administration Finance Or related field OR Equivalent combination of education and relevant federal procurement experience Required Experience Experience working in Government construction acquisition Strong contract administration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience in business, contracting, or related fields with demonstrated contract formation and administration experience
Knowledge of:
Contract types Price/cost analysis Government procurement regulations FAR and DoD acquisition procedures Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word Ability to work independently in a dynamic federal contracting environment Preferred Qualifications Candidates with the following are strongly preferred: Experience in construction procurement and construction contracting support Strong working knowledge of: Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) Military Construction (MILCON) projects Experience planning and coordinating: Pre-award procurement activities Post-award contractual functions Experience with ACWS Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) contracting offices
Knowledge of:
SAM.gov Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Preferred Certifications One or more of the following certifications is preferred:
