We are closed on Sundays!!! ```Job Overview``` We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Produce Associate to join our team. As a Produce Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the freshness and quality of our produce department, salad bar, and seasonal plant department. Your main responsibilities will include preparing fruits and vegetables, stocking, maintaining inventory, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

• Burkholder's Market is open six days a week. WE are closed on Sundays!!! ```Duties```
• Package and display produce items in an appealing manner
• Stocking and replenishing produce shelves and displays
• Rotating and organizing produce items to ensure freshness
• Assisting customers with their produce selections and providing exceptional customer service
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the produce department
• Monitoring inventory levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
• Operating equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners scales and shrink wrappers
• Load and unload produce deliveries, being able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to perform other duties as requested or required ```Qualifications```
• Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment helpful but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to have a flexible work schedule including the rotation of evenings and Saturdays as needed
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and ability to maintain accurate records
