The location in Rothschild, (Wisconsin, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Product Development and Compliance Lead - Paper. This job is full-time permanent. The Rothschild Mill, (Wisconsin, United States) is seeking a New Product Development/FDA Compliance Coordinator that is an energetic and driven individual to develop and implement new products for strategic business. This position is ideal for someone who is process-minded, has a strong understanding of papermaking and quality processes, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, and loves solving challenges through collaboration and hands-on problem-solving. This role will work extensively with customers, product management, sales, and the mill operations team to develop new strategic business. This position reports to the Strategic Business Unit Leader.
Key goals include:
developing new strategic business that aligns with machine capabilities, industry trends, and sustainability to secure the future of the Paper Mill. Role Responsibilities Manage strategic business from conception to commercialization. Manage internal FDA audit program and conduct internal audits to ensure FDA compliance. Develop specifications and operating procedures to manufacture new strategic business. Lead trials and implement process changes to drive all new products to commercialization Manage the cost system to accurately and efficiently cost new strategic business. Utilize CI methodologies to balance customer needs, quality, and manufacturing costs. Investigate and determine root causes for internal and external product misses and implement future corrective actions. Effectively develop and lead cross-functional process improvement teams to achieve product commercialization. Document best practices, techniques, procedures and tools for streamlining manufacturing processes. Continue to develop core knowledge by obtaining additional training and certifications. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pulp & Paper or relevant engineering discipline. 3+ years of Paper quality and manufacturing experience is required. Strong background in developing and implementing procedures, process, and operational controls. Strong communication, troubleshooting, analysis, and mechanical aptitude skills. Working knowledge/experience utilizing MS applications and other production related applications. Preferred Qualifications Ability to apply Six Sigma tools and principles such as process Capability, Gage RR, Design of Experiments, and DMAIC in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity and experience with FDA compliance requirements. Experience with Project and Change Management You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions).
