Production Assembler

MNStar Group is a small electric-wire harness manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, MN. We're growing! Our ideal candidate will have some experience in manufacturing and a commitment to modeling our company values. Responsibilities/Expectations Maintain constant communication with the Lead to stay current with build schedules needed to satisfy customer needs/deadlines Assemble cables/wires/component parts according to blueprint specifications while complying with safety, ISO, and quality standards Read and interpret instructions, work orders, diagrams, schematics, data sheets, and wire lists to determine materials needed. When in doubt, ask Attach ends of wires to components, plugs, or terminal strip, using soldering iron, welding as needed, or crimping device, appropriate hand tools, electronic, and pneumatic tooling Conduct continuity and resistance testing Report defective materials or questionable conditions to department Lead Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly conditions If you see something unsafe, say something Complete tasks as efficiently as possible while complying with expectations to the best of your ability Model our values of safety, kindness, fairness, and seeking excellence daily Be optimistic, positive, and collaborative Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Six months of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred, but not required Possess interpersonal communication skills needed to work well with others Plenty of OTJ training and career-building experiences will be provided Physical Demands Required to stand, bend, stoop, walk, and minor lifting throughout the day Will engage in repetitive hand and wrist movements Vision abilities require close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus Compensation and Benefits Starting wage is $17+/hour Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D and STD are offered Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, no weekends Overtime hours are available MNStar Group is a proud equal opportunity employer.
