Job Description

Job Title:
Production Associate I Disassembly/Cleaning and Inspection - 1st
Shift Location:
Commerce City, CO 1 year contract / pay rate: $23.50/hr Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm Responsibilities Operate machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment. Assist in the teardown of high horsepower diesel engines, rotating through disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of engine components. Follow all applicable safety standards, policies, procedures, and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment. Perform quality inspections, identify and control non-conforming materials, and ensure adherence to quality procedures such as SPC and visual standards. Work at required cycle times, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and perform routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and repair equipment as needed. Engage in safety training and promote a culture of health and safety awareness. Participate actively in process improvements, safety initiatives, and team development activities. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience meeting regulatory requirements. Experience with automotive or heavy equipment tools, hand and power tools, and engine disassembly. Mechanical competency and attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy components using cranes and work safely with heavy machinery. Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with engine teardown, cleaning, inspection, and quality control procedures preferred.
