Job Description
Overview Do team members come to you with questions when your department supervisor or manager is unavailable? Do you feel that you have a strong understanding of the department's needs? We are currently seeking employees like you to step into a Production Lead role and support the Department Supervisor and Manager with key responsibilities while continuing to fulfill daily production duties. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your readiness for the next step in your career at Taylor Guitars. As a Production Lead, you will continue to meet production quotas while assisting with employee training, communicating daily and weekly goals to the team, answering questions as they arise, and helping maintain a positive and productive team environment.

$25.90 - 31.03 Hourly ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives instructions and specifications of the job through the supervisor and communicates them to the employees in their department.
- Motivates and helps employees accomplish the production standards.
- Takes responsibility for the oversight of employee department training.
- Trains new employees in the methods and responsibilities of the respective department.
- Assists in ensuring the company policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding production functions.
- Provides feedback to the department supervisor or manager regarding employee performance.
- Assists manager in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assists in scheduling and maintaining work flow dynamic.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED certificate required. One to three years of experience working in the respective department and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must consistently meet or exceed the expectations of current role.Computer Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications (i.e. RFID software Syspro).Similar remote jobs
