Production Fabrication Specialist

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Every day is different at OSH Cut. As a high-mix, no-minimum job shop we make custom tube and sheet metal parts (often prototypes) for some of the most influential companies in the world, as well as small-to-mid-sized brands and individual builders. Our tech-driven approach to manufacturing provides customers with upfront clarity about the manufacturability of their designs, instant price quotes, and the ability to receive their parts in record time. The crux of this position is to fulfill these incoming orders as quickly and accurately as our system dictates. You'd be expected to: Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our standard lead time is 2-3 days, with some options for same-day production. Some might describe what we do as miraculous; in our view, it's simply the pace at which we dominate the industry. Be a team player, collaborating with a crew to knock out the day's challenges. Prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer demands for speed and quality (Time Management) . Interpret digital 3D models and follow online job instructions to fabricate orders using laser cutting, bending, tapping, countersinking, hardware insertion, finishing, and welding (Technical Execution) . Perform close visual, tactile, and dimensional inspections to ensure OSH Cut and customer standards are met (Quality Control) . Safely operate machinery such as CNC lasers, brake presses, deburring machines, tappers, knee mills, hardware presses, MIG/TIG/laser welders, calipers, saws, and forklifts (Safety & Equipment) . Keep the worksite clean and organized, performing daily tasks to maintain a high-performance workspace.

Work Schedule:

Day Shift:

Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:00

PM Night Shift:

Mon-Thu (Four 10s), 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM Education and/or

Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or higher. Proficiency with reading in English to understand and complete tasks. Experience with fabrication or manufacturing is preferred, but not necessary.

Essential Skills & Abilities:

Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hour shifts; ability to squat or reach to lift materials (up to 25 lbs consistently, 25-50 lbs frequently, and 50+ lbs occasionally with assistance). Use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with noise, heavy machinery, and metal dust/shavings. Ability to stay on task and meet production goals without direct supervision. Ability to follow standardized procedures with high precision. Ability to use computers, high precision equipment, hand/power tools, and precision measurement instruments. Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team. A meticulous approach to measuring and planning to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
