Job Description
Allan Brothers is seeking an Production Lead (Night Shift) to join our team! Allan Brothers., Inc. is now hiring! Are you looking for a fun and energetic place to work? The Production Lead is responsible for setting up the barcodes for the tray lines on the line to ensure the proper stamp is put on each box when it goes through the stamper. Training the tray line packers to ensure the packed fruit meets the customer's grade standards, and work with the Line QC to verify that the customer's grade standard is being met and analyzing the culls.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The Production Lead will work and communicate daily with the Production Supervisors. They will also have a continued working relationship with other supervisors for information pertaining to packing and employees. Daily work with line employees will be necessary to carry out tasks.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Arrive before the beginning of shift to set up the tray line per the Production Line Supervisor's instructions, which includes the following: Distribute the proper barcodes to the specified tray lines Distribute the proper "Pack with Pride" grade standards to each tray line Distribute the required boxes throughout the tray lines as a template for the day's packing Coordinate with the Stamper Operator to ensure the tray line barcode layout matches the stamper setup Head count checks at start up and coordinate additional line staffing needs with the Production Line Supervisor Coordinate packing line changes in due to Special Pack Requests (SPR's) Coordinate with the Stamper Operator to ensure the tray lines are properly setup. Review the Post Pack QC Data to ensure packed fruit quality Level 1Lead:
Documenting Absences HighJump Entries Creating Schedules Verify Daily Time Punches Assisting Supervisors with other duties in regards to Time and Attendance when needed.QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY
KNOWLEDGE OF:
Knowledge of fruit industry- Preferred Basic Computer/ Office Skills
- Required Able to communicate in English
ABILITY TO
Must be able to Stand and Walk for 10-12 hours Must be able to lift 40-75 lbs constantly throughout the shift Pushing and Pulling of different items may be required Working in cramped or confined spaces Work 7 Days a week, 10-12 hour shifts, some holidays maybe requiredEXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSES, AND TRAINING
: High School, GED, or Trade School Certificate- Preferred Leadership Skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
The Production Lead position is a full time, hourly position and will primarily work in warehouse and packing environments; be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, with occasional rotations of shifts. Work environment conditions may include working outside during winter and summer months, some exposure to mechanical equipment, forklift / truck traffic and occasional office environments.
