• Full-time The Production Planner is responsible for supporting Production by preparing Production schedules, determining resource requirements, updating inventory levels, etc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and update production schedules. Review production specifications and plant capacity data and performing calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Prepare purchase orders and scheduling agreements. Create and maintain bills of material (BOMs), routings, work centers and costing data as needed. Enter/update inventory level data. Update and maintain the production board spreadsheet with customer orders and forecasts. Create and maintain any needed reports. Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate Degree a plus. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. ERP/MRP experience required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills. Work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience with material requirements planning (MRP) and related software a plus.
