Identify inefficiencies, implement lean principles, and drive continuous improvement to enhance throughput and reduce downtime.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering and quality teams on print file optimization (build files), support removal, heat treatment, and surface finishing.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all production steps adhere to safety, quality, and industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO 9001/AS9100). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or business operations and a minimum of 3+ years of production planning experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment. (An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered); strong experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP systems for real-time shop floor tracking; strong proficiency in Excel and specialized scheduling software; demonstrated knowledge of both additive manufacturing (DMLS/PBF) and traditional machining (CNC); exceptional communication, organizational skills, and high attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic team environment are required.
