Shift:
6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday Full-time, 2ndShift:
2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday Production Specialist plays a critical role in the fabrication of foam-based products. This position involves various tasks related to the manufacturing process, including cutting, shaping, and assembling foam components.Position Responsibilities:
Foam Cutting and Shaping:
Operate die cut and other cutting machines and tools to precisely cut and shape foam materials according to production specifications.Quality Control:
Inspect foam products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.Material Handling:
Safely handle and transport raw materials and finished products within the production area. Package and wrap finished product, manipulate product on table to position it so that it can be wrapped according to customer specifications, count and track number of product wrapped Moving finished and unfinished goods using equipment such as pallet jacks. Communicate with work station coworker to ensure that goods are complete and ready for movement to next work cell. Receive, shake and inspect foam and prepare for next staging area, carefully handle the foam to avoid rips, cuts or tears. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment; report any safety concerns or incidents promptly. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the proper disposal of waste materials and the recycling of reusable components. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production flow and meet production targets. Qualifications Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in foam fabrication, is preferred but not required.Physical Fitness:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive movements. Attention toDetail:
Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in cutting, shaping, and assembling foam components.Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn how to operate various manufacturing machines and tools.Team Player:
Willingness to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.Safety Conscious:
Commitment to following safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment. Skills Proficiency in operating and maintaining machinery and equipment relevant to the specific production or fabrication processes. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Physical endurance to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks .Flexibility:
Willingness to adapt to changes in production processes, materials, or work conditions. Ability to analyze and solve problems that may arise during the production process. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure the quality and consistency of finished products.Basic Computer Proficiency:
Familiarity with using computers for tasks such as data entry, inventory tracking, and operating computerized machinery; able to use an iPad to enter information into ERP system Full-time, 1stShift:
