Production Supervisor

Description Production Manager (Greenfield, MO) Pennington Seed is hiring a Production Manager in our Greenfield , Missouri L ocation , in PenPakII Operations . This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with in tight schedules and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the day

• to•day facility operations Maintain proper, accurate records ; evaluate production reports to ensure the effective use of supplies and personnel assignments Schedule and manage departmental personnel and handle employee relations matters Resolve operations issues, including seed, packaging, labels, bags, and equipment Maintain a safety•conscious d epartment and immediately correct potential safety concerns

QUALIFICATIONS

BA or BS degree in business, management or supply chain preferred OR 4 + years previous production management experience Ab ility to effectively utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to set and manage multiple priorities and details, use good judgment, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
