Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role leads production teams, coordinates workflow, and drives continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets Lead, train, and develop production employees to maximize performance and engagement Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Review production schedules and adjust staffing or workflows as needed to meet demand Conduct quality checks and ensure products meet company and customer specifications Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation Enforce company policies and promote a positive, team-oriented work environmentRequired Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools preferredPreferred Skills:
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience Strong organizational and time management abilities Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of equipment/processes Ability to motivate teams and drive continuous improvementShift:
1 st (5:45 am to 4:45 pm Monday through Thursday, OT on Friday)Salary:
