Production Supervisor - Night

Only work half the year with our schedule! D shift (TH, FRI, SAT and every other WED) 6pm-6am Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Night Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations during overnight shifts. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality output. The ideal candidate is experienced in factory environments, comfortable working with mechanical tools and equipment, and capable of leading a team to meet production goals efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise the night shift production team, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. Monitor manufacturing processes to maintain quality standards and optimize efficiency. Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including proper operation of forklifts, power tools, and hand tools. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and assembly lines to identify maintenance needs or potential issues. Provide training and guidance to team members on equipment operation, assembly techniques, and safety procedures. Document production activities, report discrepancies or safety concerns, and implement corrective actions as needed. Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, supervision, and management Monitor raw materials and ensure products are within customer specification Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, supervision, and management Identify personnel related issues, including conflicts, misconduct, and accidents/injuries. Communicate with management to address the matter Ensure personnel are following all GMP's and company safety policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred. Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, assembly lines, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and warehouse operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team during overnight shifts. Good communication skills to coordinate with different departments effectively. Mechanical knowledge that supports troubleshooting equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
