Job Description

  • Job Title:
    Production Worker
  • Job Description
  • This production role focuses on supporting all stages of the sign production process, from preparing materials to finishing and shipping completed products. You will work Friday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in a climate-controlled, well-lit production environment, using hand tools, light power equipment, and production machinery to deliver high-quality, accurate work on time.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Manage all aspects of the sign production process, including product selection, packaging, assembly, finishing, and shipping.
+ Follow detailed layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images onto predetermined substrates or media. + Prepare substrates for vinyl application by cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and performing other necessary prep work. + Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, using appropriate techniques based on size, vinyl type, and image complexity. + Operate and maintain printers and related production equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality output. + Perform pre- and post-production quality assurance by accurately reading and interpreting Work Orders and thoroughly proofing for errors or unacceptable standards. + Carry out finishing operations such as laminating and mounting printed pieces onto various substrates. + Monitor inventory levels, report stock needs, and assist with reordering materials as required. + Clean and maintain storage areas and workspaces to support a safe, organized production environment. + Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines. + Use hand tools, light power equipment, and measuring tools such as tape measures to complete production tasks. + Load materials and products as needed to support ongoing production activities.
  • Essential Skills
  • + Experience in production, assembly, or general production environments.
+ Ability to perform inspection and quality checks on finished products. + Proficiency with hand tools and light power equipment in a production setting. + Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. + Capability to stand for long periods of time during extended shifts. + Ability to lift 50 or more pounds safely and repeatedly. + Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use a back-and-forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to substrates. + Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-volume, high-quality output. + Comfort with general labor and machine operation tasks. + Ability to follow detailed instructions and interpret Work Orders accurately.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Prior experience in sign production or graphics-related production environments is beneficial.
+ Familiarity with vinyl application, weeding techniques, and laminating processes is an advantage. + Experience operating printers or similar production machinery is preferred. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. + Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while meeting deadlines. + Willingness to participate in ongoing training opportunities to expand skills.

  • This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
