Energy Assistance Program Manager SEMCAC - Rushford, MN Full‑Time | Non‑Exempt Overview SEMCAC is seeking a dedicated Energy Assistance Program Manager to lead and oversee daily operations of our Energy Assistance Program. This role ensures program compliance, supports and supervises staff, coordinates services, and helps individuals and families access essential energy resources. The Program Manager works closely with the Energy & Housing Services Director to deliver high‑quality, community‑focused services. Key Responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate Energy Assistance Program operations Supervise, train, and support program caseworkers and administrative staff Design workflow and staffing plans to ensure efficient service delivery Determine client eligibility, including authorization of emergency energy assistance Ensure program compliance with state and agency guidelines Assist with budgets, reports, audits, meetings, and staff training Respond to program inquiries, complaints, and appeals professionally Maintain accurate documentation and strict confidentiality Coordinate program activities with state agencies, vendors, and community partners Represent SEMCAC and advocate for the Energy Assistance Program in the community Utilize program software, including eHEAT and Microsoft Office applications Supervisory Responsibilities Lead administrative staff in the Rushford office Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and assigning work Support performance evaluations and address staff issues as needed Ensure supervision aligns with SEMCAC policies and applicable laws Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent One (1) year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to analyze program guidelines, reports, and regulations Experience working with diverse populations in a professional, respectful manner Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn state‑mandated software systems
Pay:
