Job Description:

Insight Global's client is looking for a Project Accountant to support multiple projects in a fast?paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into project financials, partnering closely with project teams, and owning end?to?end accounting activities.

Preferred Requirements:

1+ years of accounting experience Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables) Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Experience managing multiple projects in a fast?paced environment

What You'll Be Doing:

Post invoices, support Accounts Receivable, and prepare weekly accounting reports Set up and close projects accurately to ensure proper documentation and compliance Prepare client invoices based on contract terms Own month?end project reporting, including gross margin analysis and variance reporting Prepare journal entries (revenue adjustments, accruals, provisions for loss) Monitor project balances across AR, AP, unbilled, unearned revenue, and DSO Ensure compliance with

US GAAP, SOX

controls, and company policies Partner with project teams throughout the full project lifecycle Work cross?functionally with internal teams, clients, and vendors to resolve issues Participate in internal and external audits Recommend and support process, system, and control improvements Provide guidance and share accounting best practices with teammates on more complex work
