Project & Logistics Assistant

Schmidt Brothers Roofing is looking to hire someone who is self-motivated, punctual, dependable and looking to work together with others on a team to get jobs done. We install asphalt shingle roofs in Southern MN and the Twin Cities. One of our most important positions is that of the Project & Logistics Assistant, to help ensure our contractors have the supplies and support they need to get jobs done in an efficient manner. Along with running supplies, maintaining a clean and organized shop will be your responsibility.

Duties:

• Communicate with sales staff and contractors for supplies/product needs.
• Pickup Supplies from local suppliers & deliver to the jobs
• Handle returns of surplus product from jobs.
• Dump roof waste in sump trailer at local landfill.
• Organize & Maintain Shop Area
• Maintain Necessary Stock Levels in shop

Requirements:

• Self Motivated & desire to be a part of a team.
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to pass DOT Physical (No CDL required)
• Ability to drive & operate a truck.
• Ability to tow & operate a dump trailer.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs (one bundle of shingles)

Pay:

$18/hour.
