Job Description
Five Rivers Analytics is looking for a Project Manager to work in Summerville, SC. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! The Project Manager for the MITSM (Marine Information Technology and Systems Modernization) Program at NIWC Atlantic is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex technical projects that support mission-critical modernization efforts across the Navy and Marine Corps. This role ensures alignment of project activities with program objectives, technical standards, cybersecurity requirements, and sponsor expectations. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project management activities for MITSM initiatives, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality assurance Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, system architects, cybersecurity analysts, logistics personnel, and external partners Develop and maintain project plans, integrated master schedules, and required documentation Monitor project progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain cost, schedule, and performance baselines Ensure compliance with DoD, DON, and NIWC Atlantic policies, including configuration management, acquisition guidelines, and cybersecurity requirements Prepare and deliver briefings to leadership, stakeholders, and government sponsors Facilitate technical interchange meetings, integrated product team (IPT) sessions, and project reviews Support contract planning, tasking, performance monitoring, and evaluation of contractor deliverables Maintain rigorous risk and issue tracking, including development of mitigation strategies Coordinate testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment activities with operational stakeholders Ensure all project artifacts meet audit readiness, quality, and documentation standards Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the MITSM program and PMO processes
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in any technical or managerial disciplineExperience:
Ten (10) years of direct work experience with C4ISR or similar program/projects. Eight (8) years of direct work experience, to include: design/development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of Cloud and Software Engineering Experience shall include supervising project personnel and/or team, scheduling work, writing proposals and /or preparing bids, and experience ordering and/or transporting equipment and material. Experience may be achieved simultaneously; individual shall have knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures, and individual shall have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management role Experience leading technical projects within a DoD or federal environment Proficiency with project management methods, tools, and DoD lifecycle processes Understanding of information systems, network architectures, and modernization efforts Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements such as RMF and system accreditation processes Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA/DAU certifications, or equivalent Experience supporting Navy or Marine Corps C4ISR, IT, or modernization programs Knowledge of NIWC Atlantic processes, governance, and technical domains Experience with Agile frameworks, DevSecOps, or digital transformation efforts JobID 2026-23115
