The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple drywall and metal framing projects simultaneously.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate project startup activities, including submittals, RFIs, procurement, and staffing.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Collaborate with estimators, superintendents, foremen, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and overall project performance.
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and conflicts proactively.
  • Manage change orders, billing, cost tracking, and forecasting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee project closeout, punch list completion, and final documentation. Qualifications
  • 3-7+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably in drywall and metal framing.
  • Strong knowledge of drywall systems, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and related construction methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with Quick Bid and On Screen Takeoff Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to visit active construction sites regularly.
  • Ability to walk job sites, climb stairs/ladders, and work in varying weather and site conditions.
