Job Description:

Project Manager Mid | Utility Infrastructure Projects We're seeking a Project Manager Mid to support large-scale utility infrastructure initiatives focused on substation and transmission projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys leading cross-functional teams through complex engineering projects. This onsite role is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL and offers long-term contract potential with strong extension and conversion opportunities.

What You'll Do:

Lead utility infrastructure projects from initiation through completion Manage project scope, schedule, budget, milestones, and deliverables Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution Support large load substation and transmission initiatives Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues Communicate project updates, timelines, and risks to stakeholders and leadership Facilitate project meetings and drive accountability across teams Maintain project documentation including schedules, reports, and status updates Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and external partners Support continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices

What You Bring:

5-10 years of project management experience Strong technical or engineering background Utility industry project management experience preferred Experience with substation and/or transmission projects PMP Certification required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Discipline, or Project Management Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and motivation Experience working in collaborative, team-oriented environments Proficiency with project management tools and software Top performers in this role are proactive leaders who can balance technical understanding with strong project execution while maintaining clear communication across teams and stakeholders. ????

Pay:

$55 - $60/hour.
