Job Description

Project Manager, Utility (Wastewater and Sewer) Robert B. Our Company invites applications for a Project Manager to join our growing team. Working on both private and public construction projects, the Project Manager serves in a leadership capacity to oversee and manage all phases of multiple construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. As part of this work, the Project Manager leads all project meetings and serves as the main point of contact for clients and consultants, working to proactively inform key partners and address concerns. To that end, candidates must be highly organized and adept at communicating with a variety of stakeholders. Prepare and submit estimates on utilities, site and water projects. Collaborate with clients to review and adjust estimates to customer specifications. Develop project schedules, timelines and resource allocations for projects. Coordinate pre-construction activities including permitting, budgeting and procurement. Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders effectively. Monitor all project costs and acceptable profit margin. Contract subcontractors. Maintain project documentation including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and daily logs. Meet with internal teams to assess project progress and anticipate potential delays. Report on project progress. Monitor projects for adherence to all safety standards. General Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field or a combination of education/experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge. Demonstrated experience managing commercial, residential and/or industrial construction projects and experience in the design and construction of water/wastewater treatment facility building projects. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations. Strong technology orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using estimating software (i.e., Bid2Win), earthwork takeoff (i.e., Carlson software), and general quantity takeoff (i.e., Blue Beam). Ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, negotiation and customer service skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; excellent listening skills. Ability to work proactively with and communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences. Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills. Strong mathematical skills. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting/financial reporting, budgeting, and scheduling associated with commercial construction. OSHA 10 certification required. The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $163,396. Actual salaries will depend on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education and other qualifications. Robert B.
