Job superintendent / Carpenter - High-End Custom Home Builder Cape May County | Full-Time | Competitive Pay About Us We are one of South Jersey's premier custom home builders, crafting exceptional residences along the Jersey Shore and throughout Cape May County. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter Foreman to lead our crew and help deliver stunning custom homes from the ground up. The Role This is a hands-on leadership position for a carpenter who loves the craft and is ready to take ownership on the jobsite. You'll split your time between working alongside your crew and partnering with the Project Manager to keep projects moving on schedule, on budget, and up to our high standards. What You'll Do Perform and oversee all phases of carpentry, including rough framing, sheathing, structural work, interior and exterior trim, doors, windows, and finish carpentry Lead, mentor, and motivate a crew of carpenters and laborers on active jobsites Work directly with the Project Manager to coordinate scheduling, material needs, subcontractors, and daily workflow Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and project specifications Conduct daily jobsite walkthroughs to identify issues early and keep the project on track Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite at all times Communicate clearly between crew members, the PM, and ownership What We're Looking For Experience in residential carpentry — rough framing through finish work — at any level, with a desire to lead Proven ability (or strong desire) to supervise and guide a crew Solid understanding of construction sequencing and project flow A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and lead-by-example mentality Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Familiarity with the South Jersey / Shore area is a plus

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

$85,000 - $120,000 (competitive, commensurate with experience)

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday (some Saturdays may be required based on project needs)
