Property Maintenance Technician

Handsome Homebuyer is one of Long Island's fastest-growing real estate investment companies. We buy, renovate, build, and sell homes throughout the region and are looking for a skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time, steady position working primarily on residential properties. If you have experience in construction, property maintenance, or handyman work and enjoy solving problems and working with your hands, this could be a great opportunity. Duties Perform general property maintenance and repairs on residential homes Diagnose and repair plumbing issues (leaks, fixtures, valves, toilets, sinks, water lines) Complete basic electrical work (outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, troubleshooting) Perform carpentry and general construction work including framing, trim, doors, and drywall repairs Assist with home and apartment turnovers including patching, painting, fixture replacements, and minor renovations Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections Repair or replace doors, windows, flooring, cabinets, drywall, and other building components Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently Coordinate with management to prioritize and schedule repairs Skills Experience in construction, property maintenance, or handyman work Knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs Experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs Ability to diagnose problems and work independently Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and reliability Willingness to use basic technology such as iPad/iPhone and maintenance software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders when needed Preferred Skills (Not Required) HVAC experience Experience working with rental properties or property management companies Basic knowledge of building codes and safety practices Why Work With Us Full-time, stable position Work with a growing real estate company Variety of projects (renovations, maintenance, repairs) Opportunity to grow with the company Homebuyers Program-We'll help you become a homeowner Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to maintaining high standards across our properties. Pay:

$33.65 - $38.46 per hour
