Room Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at the Residence Inn - Melville. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within our establishment. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and refreshments in guest rooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and stairwells. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner. Skills Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and practices. Proficient in floor care techniques and equipment usage. Ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with hotel operations and guest service expectations. Experience in industrial cleaning is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
