Corp Property Maintenance Worker Falmouth, MA Apply Responsibilities include daily janitorial work, light landscaping, snow and ice removal from walkways, building repairs as needed, painting and light carpentry when apartments become vacant, responding to tenant maintenance requests. Hours are flexible as long as the work gets done promptly. Ideal candidate must have own transportation, be reliable and able to respond to requests in a timely manner, have the ability to interact with tenants and management in respectful and responsible manner.

Job responsibilities details:

Daily Keep property litter free, check dumpster area for loose garbage, empty cigarette receptacles, keep laundry room clean, clean common areas & elevator, return shopping carriages to shopping center, water flowers, keep utility closets neat and organized. Twice per week Vacuum and mop hallway and staircases as needed. Landscaping Trim bushes and hedges, water flowers as needed, spread mulch in the spring, other projects as needed. Winter snow and ice removal Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, ramps and areas of the parking lot that the snow plow contractor cannot reach. This must be done early in the morning and throughout the day depending on the weather conditions. As needed Respond to tenant and landlord requests for maintenance promptly upon request. Examples include washing windows, changing light bulbs, checking plumbing leaks, replacing smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, etc. There may be requests during off hours depending on the urgency of the problem. Plumbing and electrical knowledge helpful but not a requirement. Light carpentry, painting, carpet cleaning, flooring replacement as needed when apartments become vacant.
