Property Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 55+ residential MH property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to the senior citizen community. This role requires proficiency in various property management software and a solid grasp of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and conflict management, and senior resident events. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Utilize property management software such as Appfolio and Microsoft for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met. Handle tenant inquiries and professionally resolve conflicts. Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and terminations while negotiating terms as necessary. Implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy rates through effective sales techniques and upselling. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, contracts, and maintenance requests using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Collaborate with maintenance staff and vendors to coordinate repairs and ensure the property is well-maintained. Provide administrative support, including phone etiquette, office experience tasks, and facilities management. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administration. Familiarity with Mobile Home Parks is preferred. Experience in 55+ Communities is preferred. Strong knowledge of evictions and housing regulations. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive tenant relationships. Proficient in property leasing processes and sales techniques. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and filing tasks. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with administrative duties related to property management is essential.
