We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, and we are looking for a motivated Property Manager Assistant to join our team. The Property Manager Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting property management operations. This position requires a strong understanding of real estate financial accounting, property expenses, and reporting, as well as the ability to manage tenant relations and assist with daily operational tasks. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in property management support and be adept at handling a range of administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Property Owner in overseeing daily operations and tenant relations for nine properties on the west side of Chicago. Maintain and manage property financial accounts, including tracking expenses, rent collections, and budget management. Facilitate timely filing of income tax returns for multiple companies. Prepare and analyze property management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Understand and support various rental programs and compliance requirements. Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor communications to ensure timely resolution. Assist in marketing efforts to attract new tenants and retain existing residents. Maintain organized records for tenant applications, lease agreements, and property documents. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing tenant inquiries and concerns promptly. Assist with property inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.5+ years of experience in property management support or related fields. Understanding of real estate financial accounting, property expenses, and reporting. Proven relationship management experience in a customer-facing role. Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. High energy, outgoing disposition.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient with AppFolio Property Management Software. Knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations. Experience in handling financial reporting and budgeting for properties.
What We Offer:

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10 am - 6 pm CST.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
