Job Description

As a Property Manager, you will oversee daily operations, tenant relations, leasing activities, and property maintenance to ensure our properties operate smoothly and tenants are satisfied. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations to maximize occupancy and revenue. Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Conduct property inspections regularly to monitor condition, enforce lease agreements, and address any issues promptly. Handle lease negotiations, renewals, and legal documentation in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping. Resolve tenant concerns with professionalism and conflict management skills while maintaining positive relationships. Oversee compliance with Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other affordable housing regulations. Collaborate with leasing agents to attract new tenants through upselling amenities and property features. Maintain accurate filing systems for contracts, legal documents, maintenance records, and financial reports. Ensure all activities adhere to legal standards including Fair Housing laws and local regulations related to property leasing. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law. Familiarity with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and related compliance standards. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Excellent customer service skills paired with phone etiquette to handle tenant inquiries effectively. Strong negotiation abilities for lease agreements, contracts, and conflict resolution scenarios. Office experience including data entry, filing, contracts management, and administrative support functions. Knowledge of facilities management practices for property maintenance coordination. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills. Legal administrative experience is desirable to navigate lease documentation and compliance requirements effectively.
