Job Description

Job Overview The PSR Psychosocial Rehabilitation position is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting clients in their journey towards mental wellness and recovery. This role involves working closely with individuals facing various psychological challenges, providing them with the tools and resources necessary to enhance their quality of life. The PSR will facilitate therapeutic interventions, promote personal development, and assist clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Duties Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans. Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as psychopharmacology, art therapy, and gender issues counseling. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support for clients. Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies. Provide crisis intervention as needed to ensure client safety and well-being. Experience Candidates should possess a background in mental health or a related field. Experience in psychopharmacology, art therapy, or gender issues counseling is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential for success in this role. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in psychosocial rehabilitation is also important.
