Job Title:

Psychiatric Technician (Day Shift) Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Psychiatric Technician to join our team in a behavioral health setting. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patients' daily care while helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Schedule & Pay Shift:

Day Shift (7:00 AM•7:00 PM) / 3•12 hour shifts (Days will vary week to week)

Pay Rates:

$18.00/hour (7:00 AM•3:00 PM) $19.25/hour (3:00 PM•7:00 PM shift differential)

Weekend Rate:

$19.25/hour

Average Hourly Rate:

$18.41/hour Key Responsibilities Provide daily supervision and support to patients as part of a multidisciplinary care team Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Observe and report changes in patient behavior, condition, or concerns to the Registered Nurse Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Monitor and document vital signs, patient activities, and specialized observations Complete accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records Ensure readiness and proper use of emergency procedures and equipment Support unit operations by collaborating with nurses, team leaders, and peers Assist in training and onboarding new staff as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting preferred, but not required.
