Job Description

Mental Health Agency located in Oxford NC is recruiting for permanent part to full Psychiatrist, Physician Assistant-Certified, or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. You will be asked to perform history and physicals of patients during psychiatric evaluations, medication management, dictate discharge summaries, prescribe medications and order lab work (we have an onsite lab). Works 2-3 days per week with potential to grow into more. This is a 1099 contract labor position.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the North Carolina Medical Board or approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and the North Carolina Medical Board. Psychiatric experience is a must. Must be willing to work with children. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications and admibister injections, including telehealth consultations as needed. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective discharge planning and ongoing patient care. Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management. Engage in continuous education and clinical research to enhance treatment methodologies.

$80.00 - $105.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
