The District is recruiting a 0.5 FTE school psychologist to support students with a range of social and emotional needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct cognitive assessments and evaluations of students, including functional behavior assessments Develop and implement behavior management plans and individualized education programs to support student success Provide individual and group services to children and/or families Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide collaborative consultations and recommendations for implementation of intervention strategies

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Required:

Background, interest, and/or expertise in school psychology at the elementary level Hold or be eligible for State of Connecticut Certification as a school psychologist (070 certification required)

Preferred:

Experience with philosophy and methods of Responsive Classroom Experience working with students who have experienced trauma

SALARY AND BENEFITS

This position is a part-time, school-year position. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the District and the Woodbridge Education Association.
